Given the fact that the Acai Berry has been flaunted so much as the next big super foacai berry treeod, one will wonder if the whole thing is genuine or a scam.  Is there really a miracle Acai Berry tree in the Amazon rain forest or is the world being duped?

For starters, yes there is a real Acai berry tree which grows the elusive Acai berry. You can see the picture featured here which clearly shows you the fruit hanging from the tree. The purple little berries that you can see are indeed the Acai Berries from which the health supplements are made.

You can not pluck the Acai berry from the Acai Palm in the Amazon Rain forest and eat it. It needs to be processed like olives are processed before eating. It is the extract of the Acai Berry that is used in most cases to help harness all the health benefits that are associated with the Acai Berry. So don’t feel that if you don’t eat the fruit freshly plucked you will not get the benefits associated with it.

Some of these benefits include speeding up your metabolism so that you can burn more calories during a day. This is surely useful to those wanting to loose weight by shedding a few unwanted pounds. It is also a great antioxidant so it helps to flush out the free radicals in your body. This helps to detoxify the body and slow down the aging process. There are other health benefits of the Acai Berry from the Amazon Rain Forest which have been seen but not yet scientifically verified.

The next question is does this Acai Berry from the Amazon Rain Forest really have all the magical qualities that are being touted about? The easiest way to verify the claims made by these health supplement companies to to get a free trial of their products. That way you don’t spend any money and you still get to try out the health supplement to see if it is any good.
